Buzz, Buzz Buzz

     That seems like an unusual title for a blog post, doesn't it? I will have to agree with you on that one but I hope this causes a lot of talk and buzz in the media.  Yesterday we launched our Golf Is For Everyone website and we are very proud of it.  We have a lot of plans for what we are doing and this is a key part of those plans.
      Golf Is For Everyone started out as a Face Book post.  That post began a conversation between myself and Mark Croft discussing the game of golf and how it can be grown to bring more players to the game and to bring back those who had given up the game. Golf is a great game that has been played for over 400 years and has survived many changes, ups and downs. We decided that it was time to get to work and help grow the game.
      Our first step was to take a look at who golfers are.  What we found was really quite a revelation.  Golf is more than just a "Game for old, white rich men". Mark and I were well aware of that, but weren't exactly sure that the general public knew who actually made up the golfing public and that "old, white rich men" are a very small part of the golfing public. Golfers come from all walks of life, young and old, men and women, all races, religions,nationalities and disabilities.  This is truly a diverse sport that anyone can play.
