Buzz, Buzz, Buzz (Part 2)

If you don't play golf, maybe it is time to take a look at getting started. This is a great game we play and the game has many benefits, social, physical and mental. We will welcome you to the family with open arms.
That is one of the main reasons we put together "Golf Is For Everyone".  As I have said, our goal is to grow the game of golf. That means to everyone whether you are thinking about starting the game, are new to the game or have played for a long time. The game needs to reach out to those who have never played the game and recharge those who have played the game but who have left.
Mark and I were talking about this just a short time ago.  The game needs new players. We also need to take care of those who play. It is a little bit like a neighborhood supermarket, and I thank Mark for this analogy.  The neighborhood supermarket has been in the same location for years and has a steady customer base from the surrounding neighborhood. Business is steady, but is not growing. A builder comes in to develop a huge tract of vacant land near the store. This is going to bring in new families and people who could shop at the store and bring in new business. The neighborhood market should ready itself for the new business to take care of those who are new as well as meeting the needs of its loyal customers.
Tomorrow, I will have more about growing the game and about bringing new golfers to the sport.  In the meantime, check out our Golf Is For Everyone website at http://golfisforeveryonemd.com. It is a work in progress and there is much more to come on the website. We will have a page for new golfers, women and of all things recipes--what's that you say--yes recipes. Our site is going to be different and you will be a key part of it. I will have more about that tomorrow as well. Thank you for reading and stay tuned, there is much more to come!
My first set of clubs.
